Andkas, Sanharib, and Sapais Clubs Score Victories in Iraq Women’s Basketball League

On Tuesday, Andkas, Sanharib, and Sapais clubs secured three wins in the third day of the 2025-2026 season of the Iraq Women’s Basketball League.

The matches took place at the Northern Technical University Hall in Nineveh province. Andkas defeated Al-Thawra Al-Karkokliya with a score of 72-44 points.

In the second game, Sanharib achieved a significant victory over Al-Rafidain with a score of 46-4 points, where Sanharib’s players dominated the game.

The day concluded with Sapais’ comprehensive win over Shahrbani with a score of 117-29 points.

The championship has 11 participating teams, including Alsaliakh, Aphrodite, Shahrbani, Sapais, Peshmerga, Al-Thawra, Akad Ein Kawa, Qaraqosh, Al-Rafidain, Sanharib, and Durbendikhan.

Gaz Al-Shamal Club from Kirkuk had withdrawn from the competition due to financial reasons, resulting in the continuation of the tournament with 11 teams.
